1. All breeders participating in the PLF Registry must be approved by submitting a Breeder Registration Application.

2. All breeders will sign a Code of Ethics

3. No commercial breeders selling to brokers, pet shops, etc. will be allowed to participate.

PETITE LEFLEUR BREEDERS CODE OF ETHICS

1. No commercial breeders selling to brokers, pet shops, etc. will be allowed to participate and will be barred from future participation in the PLF Registry if it is found out that they sell to broker, pet shops, etc.

2. All puppies sold as PLF's must be sold with written health guarantees.

3. All puppies sold as pet quality must be sold on spay/neuter agreements.

4. All puppies with pom coats will be sold as pets without registration.

5. All puppies sold as PLF's will not be sold before 8 weeks of age and will be current on all vaccinations and worming.

6. All puppies sold as PLF's will be properly represented and sold with as complete as possible 3 generation pedigree.

7. All PLF breeders will provide a safe, clean, and sanitary facility for all stud dogs, bitches, and puppies.

8. All PLF breeders will breed only for the purpose of improving the breed, and will conscientiously plan each litter of puppies. To do this each stud dog and bitch must be carefully chosen by conformation, pedigree, and temperament.

9. All PLF breeders will show discrimination in the sale of their puppies and will be concerned with the type of homes they are placed in. All PLF breeders will do their utmost to make buyers aware of their responsibilities as a dog owner.

10. All PLF breeders will not deliberately degrade or slander another breeder, their dogs or their kennel.

11. All PLF breeders will be honest and ethical in their dealings with other breeders and puppy buyers.

12. All PLF breeders will not breed a stud dog or bitch before they are physically and mentally mature. And they will not breed a dog or bitch beyond an age that is safe for them.

13. All PLF breeders will not knowingly donate puppies or adults to charity raffles or auctions.

14. All PLF breeders placing or selling puppies or adults in new homes will provide accurate information about food, vaccinations and health care.
